'MURPH' CHALLENGE 2023
Memorial Day - May 29th 2023
ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Every year on Memorial Doomsday Fitness Experience hosts a special class performing the ‘Murph’ Challenge, which is a unique Memorial Day tradition throughout the United States honoring Navy Lt. Michael Murphy who was killed in action in Afghanistan in June 2005.
The workout itself consists of the following:
•1 mile run
•100 pull-ups*
•200 push-ups
•300 squats
•1 mile run
(*There will be modifications in place for this variation)
The ’MURPH’ is more than just a workout though. It is a tradition that helps push us, humble us, and dedicate a bit of pain and sweat to honor a man who gave everything he had.
FOUR different HEATS (9am, 9:20am, 9:40am, and 10am) will be available for you to choose from (located in the calendar section under the May 30th schedule).
